Netwalking, with Moneypenny’s Legal Team

At Moneypenny, we’re lucky enough to have some amazing natural landscape right on our doorstep. Our HQ is in Wrexham County, North Wales, which borders and has excellent links to Cheshire, Shropshire, Powys, Denbighshire and Flintshire.

So, when thinking of an activity for a get together with some of our friends from the legal sector, we took advantage of the fantastic Spring weather and the beautiful location of Moel Famau in Flintshire.

Myself, Amy Hartshorn our Commercial Legal Manager and Laura Roberts our Legal Key Account Manager, laced up our walking boots for the climb and were joined by Alexandra Collett of Excello Law, Freddie Storrar of Storrar Cowdry, Mark Fenning and Sarah Boustouller from Stephensons, Richard Burnett of HM Legal, Mike Leeman and Joe Holmes from Bell Lamb and Joynson, Steve Maloret of CFG Law and Ian Syndenham of Jolliffes.

The outdoor setting was a great backdrop for discussions surrounding the hot topics within the legal sector at the moment, both professionally and personally, including firm life after the pandemic, service demand, ESG and of course, mental health.

Steve Maloret commented “a walk is great for a catch up, and get’s us all out of the office” a sentiment which was echoed by the whole group.

The day made a great change and definitely earned us a pub lunch.

We’re looking forward to catching up with some of this great bunch, and the rest of the LawNet firms at the LawNet Annual Conference & Awards on 1st July, see you there!
