Moneypenny becomes Code Nation Pledger

Code Nation is a specialist training organisation that offers coding and cyber security courses to students of all levels, based in both Chester and Manchester city centre.

Both Moneypenny and Code Nation are heavily involved in the tech industry and we will work together to help benefit those in the North West.

Code Nation was founded by Chair, David Muir and CEO, Andy Lord. The mission is to create the next generation of software developers and cyber specialists who can go on to build exciting careers in the tech industry. Andy has been involved in the tech recruitment industry for many years prior and has experienced the effects of the UK’s digital skills shortage first hand. Code Nation was created to combat this growing challenge and provide a solution for both employers and potential employees.

We recently joined Code Nation’s Pledger scheme; a highly regarded programme enabling businesses access to Code Nation’s talent before anyone else, and giving back to the community with mentoring, workshops and live projects for their students.

They all enjoyed a tour of our Tech Garden and hearing about the Moneypenny story. Following this, the students worked really hard to pitch some brilliant ideas for potential future Moneypenny projects which were extremely impressive. We are looking forward to them presenting the finished projects.”
