Moneypenny’s Property Team Raises More Than Pennies For #BHF100K

With more than 2,500 property companies relying on Moneypenny for telephone answering and live chat support, when they call, we answer!

Several members of our property team joined more than 200 people from the estate agency world to walk, run or jog 100km in aid of British Heart Foundation during January.

Together Joanne Tattum, Joel Davies, Kelly Ffoulkes, Louise Wilson, Megan Jones, Sam Jones, Sharon Boyle and Sophie Olivia Williams clocked up 707.8 km and raised £2025 overall.

Kelly Ffoulkes is a PA and team leader on our property team taking calls for many of the estate agents involved in the challenge, she had a great reason for taking part:

“My grandad has Cardiomyopathy which resulted in him having a pacemaker and various different procedures and medications over the years. He lost two of his younger brothers and his dad, as well as various cousins and uncles to the same disease. His youngest brother also has a pacemaker due to this.”

“The BHF have always been incredibly supportive to members of our family. They have helplines to talk through any worries we’ve had and what we could expect in the future.

“The research they carry out also goes towards helping people like my grandad and his family, which is why I really wanted to run the 100km and raise as much as I could”

The running total for the fundraiser stands at nearly £60,000 raised from more than 23,000 km on the clock.

In an article in The Negotiator, Kevin Scrupps Director at Pygott & Crone, which organised the fundraiser, said: “I put the call out to our industry and got an excellent response from many agents, suppliers, and individuals; and also from our staff and local communities.”
