Wellbeing for World Mental Health Day

To mark World Mental Health Day 2022 on 10 October, the Wellbeing Room at Moneypenny HQ has had a makeover.

More than just another breakout room, the Wellbeing Room has been designed specifically as a space where people can take some time out to look after their own personal needs as well as create a prayer/multifaith space.

Decorated in calming colours, with natural light, soft furnishings, pot plants, toys, sweets, an Alexa at your beck and call mood lighting, blinds for privacy, and even a fridge for mums expressing breast milk, the room is used by staff for a whole host of reasons, e.g for chatting, taking time out, prayer, and mindfulness sessions.

This new addition is the latest in ongoing provisions of facilities and services to enhance the working life of the award-winning Moneypenny PAs, who handle calls and Live Chats for companies across the UK and the US.

Part of this has been welcoming Wellbeing Expert Sasha Kenney to Moneypenny’s Wrexham HQ for lunchtime and breakout yoga, meditation and mindfulness sessions. Sasha had this to say about the new space: “Looking after our mental health has never been more important and being able to unwind is one of the strongest components of good mental health. I am absolutely delighted that Moneypenny now offers a calm, cosy space, away from everyday distractions, where Pennies can do exactly that – take time out, relax and reset.”
