Hi, I’m Jamie and in this short video I’m going to explain how to get the most out of using Moneypenny’s Telephone Answering service.

So, you’ve got yourself a Moneypenny PA. Congratulations! Great decision. You’ve just gained another great member of your team.

We know that your business is your baby. And you’re not going to hand over the keys to just anyone. That’s why we make sure your Moneypenny PA is exactly the right person for you.  We need to make sure that they’re someone you’d trust, and who you’d hire yourself if they walked through your door for an interview. This special person, the one who is going to look after your calls and wow your callers, let’s call her Katie.  Over time, Katie will get to know you, your customers and what’s important to your business, and it all starts with a Welcome Call; which is sort of like our version of a welcome meeting during someone’s first day at work. During the call, you don’t need to tell us every single detail about your business – believe me, that comes naturally with time. This is a brand new relationship, and like any, its crucial you trust one another and develop a rapport.

That’s why we keep this first chat easy and informal. Have a natter, share your start-up story, chat about your family and kids, tell us what’s important to you, anything and everything which you think is relevant. Yes, Katie will ask you a few key questions but there is no right or wrong here, no forms to fill in, no script. Get to know one another, trust her, she knows what she’s doing, and she will represent you perfectly. After all, that’s why you chose Moneypenny.

Now Katie is part of your team, lets cover how you keep in touch. Chat on the phone, send an email, or alternatively you can use the Moneypenny app and portal; we all like to communicate in different ways and Katie will work with whatever suits you best. You’ll find our apps in both the App store and Google Play. And you can log into your portal via Moneypenny.com.

A little bit about the Moneypenny app. You can use it to send and receive messages between you and Moneypenny. Also, you can alter what we tell your callers; whether you’re in a meeting, on holiday or whatever, and it’s got a clever GPS feature that automatically lets your PA, Katie, know where you are. Really handy if you only want calls transferred through to you when you’re, say, in your office. And in the portal, you’ll find an audit trail of your calls and messages, as well as insight into your call stats; handy for marketing tracking. You can also update Katie quickly and easily from there about any changes to your business.

So, what else can Moneypenny do for you? Well, there is all sorts of things. Katie can make the odd call for you, or even pay your congestion charge, that sort of thing. You might need more telephone numbers, a mailing address or to hire a meeting room. And what’s great, Katie can also look after your Web Chats for you, just as she does your phone calls.
