Setting up VIP and blocked callers in the Pocket Phone System app

With Moneypenny’s Pocket Phone System, you can easily manage which calls are important to you.

Missing an important call can mean a missed business opportunity. But equally, nuisance calls can be draining on your time and a big distraction from the key day-to-day tasks of running your business.

With the Pocket Phone System app, you can categorise your callers as VIPs to ensure you never miss a crucial call. Or alternatively add a number to your Blocked list to prevent future unwanted calls.

Simply tap on ‘Settings’ and scroll down to the ‘General’ tab to get started.

VIP Contacts

From your General Settings, you’ll be presented with various options – including your VIPs page.

To add a new VIP to your list, tap on the ‘+ new’ button. From here, simply fill in their contact information (name and number) and select the recipient you’d like to forward their calls to; yourself, a colleague or a specific department. Then hit ‘Done’ to save.

Blocked Contacts

Now for your blocked contacts. To add a contact to your Blocked list, tap the ‘Blocked callers’ tab from your General Settings menu.

Your Blocked Callers page operates in exactly the same way as your VIPs, except for adding a recipient – since you won’t need to route these calls to anyone.

You can add as many VIP or Blocked contacts as you like, and easily edit your existing ones at any time.

Now that you’ve got to grips with VIPs and Blocked callers, why not find out more on recording your own business greeting?
