Setting up your Pocket Phone System

Although this may seem difficult, it needn’t be. In fact, Pocket Phone System has been built around the needs of people just like you, so getting set-up couldn’t be easier. Choose exactly how you want your Pocket Phone System to work and, don’t forget, you’ve always the support of a Moneypenny PA should you ever need it.

Hi, I’m Jamie. Over the next few minutes, I’ll go through how to set up your Pocket Phone System.

So, you’ve visited moneypenny.com, created your account and chosen your package – great decision. What next?

You’ll have received an email from us to confirm your purchase, simply follow the link to personalise your account and you’re ready to go.

You can personalise all aspects of your Pocket Phone System to suit you, as well as decide what you’d like your callers to hear when they ring your business. There are three options. First, let’s cover speech recognition. Callers simply say the name of the person or department they wish to speak to, and they’ll be instantly connected. This technology has come a long way since the days of inaccurate and delayed systems. Our technology is 99% accurate and is loved by callers and clients alike.

The next option is an auto-attendant, you know press 1 for sales, 2 for accounts kind of thing. Callers select the person or department they wish to speak to and they’ll be connected.

Finally, we have a simple welcome greeting. A personalised message which is played to callers before transferring to you. You might include your opening hours, web address, that type of thing. Whichever option you choose, rest-assured they’re really easy to set up.

If you haven’t already activated Moneypenny PAs as a back-up, now is the time to do so. You’ll be safe in the knowledge that your calls are being looked after by a real person instead of going to voicemail. It’s a no brainer. You’ll then need to tell us a little bit about your business. Don’t worry, we don’t need the full story, just a few details to ensure that our Moneypenny PAs have all the information they need to answer your calls brilliantly. Tell us how you’d like your calls answered, what you want our PAs to tell your callers when you’re unavailable, your web address and a brief description of what you do. All done? Hit Finish.

Now onto your dashboard. This will be your home, your resource centre, basically everything you need to manage your Pocket Phone System. Here you can search your calls and messages, adjust your out-of-hours settings, send updates to your Moneypenny PAs and modify your digital receptionist settings.  You can also opt to get more from your Pocket Phone System by bolting on additional extras or choosing to upgrade your package. Just click on show all account features to view what you already have included in your package and click on any of the extras you want to add.
